How To Be More Creative Through Meditation

Creativity is one of those things that we often feel and think of as finite in nature. We think this because at some point we feel a creative streak, ride the wave, then find ourselves staring at a blank wall after we've extinguished the energy. The truth however is that this wall is only an illusion and creative energy is infinite in nature.

It helps if you think of it like weight training your own muscles. When we work out for weeks our muscles adapt and become stronger and for a time after we stop working out we feel this power and strength. If we stop using the muscles however the strength goes away, but is it really gone? No it's simply missing the stimulation it needs to keep it vital.

Creativity is not immune to mental plagues, or viruses of bad thought streams. Creativity blossoms actually when all the conditions are right for it to clearly access the subconscious mind. Creativity is a manifestation of an unblocked intuitive cycle actually.

As you let your body go without exercise, without water, without nutrients, and as your mind follows the deterioration process you will find your creative energy is diminished.

Often we start to think in ways that makes it impossible to rekindle the creative energy and this is like nailing the creativity coffin down. With proper exercise, good nutrition and especially meditation, we can tap into the creative spirit without fail.

People do it every day but their secret above all is their ability to quiet the mind chatter of the conscious mind and tap into the subconscious thought stream, also often referred to as their intuitive mind.

Learning to meditate is not something that takes a lot of discipline these days.
